2020 Beautiful Dying Virtual Expo
Event Platform and Experience
How the virtual event platform and #BDExpo2020 experience will work
How will the virtual event work?
The main event platform that we are using for the Beautiful Dying Virtual Expo is called Hopin (www.hopin.to). Hopin is a virtual venue with interactive areas to help you connect and engage. As an attendee, you'll be able to move in and out of rooms just like an in-person event and enjoy the content and connections throughout.
The Hopin platform includes a main stage area, breakout sessions, live video and text based chat functions, a marketplace feature to showcase organisations and opportunities, as well as connection and networking functions.
Hopin - how does it work?
Hopin is easy to use, and runs straight out of your web browser. While Hopin does work on mobile devices, for the best experience we strongly recommend that you plan to experience the Beautiful Dying Expo using your own personal laptop or desktop computer. Hopin works best on the latest version of Google Chrome, which you can download here – www.google.com/chrome.

How to Use Hopin as an Attendee
Hopin is an online events platform that specialises in engaging virtual events that connect people around the globe. While accessible on mobile, Hopin is definitely best experienced on a desktop or laptop. It is browser based (opens in your web browser, no need to download anything!), but definitely works best using the latest version of Google Chrome.
